How to Apply

To submit a general insurance application you will need to be registered for Halifax Intermediaries. In order to register for our online services simply follow the simple instructions below to start using our excellent online service. If you are already registered, simply log on in the usual way and select the GI tab.

Register now in five easy steps:

  1. Use the 'Login' button, which can be found at the top of every page.
  2. Select 'Register now', complete the simple registration process and make a note of your User ID. Once your local Business Development Manager has authorised your registration and provided you with the Halifax Intermediaries Online CD Rom, you will receive an e-mail confirming your authorisation and 'one-time' only password.
  3. Click on the 'Activate your account' link within the e-mail.
  4. Set up your 'Security details' and your registration will be complete.
  5. Once you've loaded the CD Rom you're ready to start.
